A child was electrocuted by high-voltage current in a kindergarten in Fergana.
The incident resulted in serious harm to the child's health.

Reports are circulating on social media about a child being electrocuted by high-voltage current at a preschool institution in Fergana city. Regarding the incident, the Children's Ombudsman has issued an official statement.
According to the report, the case of serious harm to the child's health due to the negligence of those responsible is being investigated by the prosecutor's office based on an inquiry by the Children's Ombudsman.
The Children's Ombudsman is monitoring the situation regarding the restoration of the child's violated rights and ensuring his/her legal interests.
"Additional information on this matter will be provided," the report states.
We recall that in November 2023, an 8th-grade student died from electrocution at a school in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city. Following that, the deputy director for administrative affairs was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, and the director was given a 4-year restriction of liberty.
