An entrepreneur who offered a $30,000 bribe to an FVV employee has been apprehended.
The Minister of Emergency Situations awarded the MES inspector with a monetary prize for not taking a bribe from a businessman.

According to information provided by the State Security Service to Zamon.uz, an entrepreneur operating in the capital offered a bribe of 30,000 US dollars to an employee of the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations. This was in exchange for a positive resolution of his application submitted via the "Nazorat.MS.UZ" electronic portal regarding the acceptance for use of a 12-story residential complex built in the Yakkasaroy district by the LLC he heads, despite a number of deficiencies not being rectified.
The employee informed the responsible persons about the situation, and during an urgent operational measure, the head of the LLC was caught red-handed while handing over the money to the employee of the capital's Emergency Situations Department.
A criminal case has been initiated against the entrepreneur under Part 3, paragraph "a" of Article 211 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied. The investigation is currently ongoing.
According to the information service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major General Azizbek Ikramov awarded the inspector of the Ministry of Emergency Situations a monetary prize for not accepting the bribe from the entrepreneur.
