"The attire of artists will be regulated" — Ministry of Culture
"Today, we are also troubled by artists' appearances on social media and their revealing clothing. If legislation adopts normative documents regarding measures in this area, the ministry will also take appropriate measures against cultural representatives," said the ministry official at a press conference with journalists.

The Ministry of Culture has recently been not indifferent and even opposed to the excessive openness and indecent behavior of representatives of the art sphere on social networks. This was announced at a press conference for media representatives held by the ministry, reports a journalist from zamon.uz.
"The question that concerns you also troubles us. The future of youth depends on the conduct of artists. Because each of them has fans, some have millions. We also watch such videos when they appear, read the comments, see that 99 percent of people are against it, and these opposing opinions encourage us. Ten years ago, artists were held more strictly on this issue. Now there is freedom, democracy in all spheres. Unfortunately, the majority do not use this correctly. However, this matter will be regulated soon," said Deputy Minister of Culture Murodjon Majidov.
Furthermore, on this issue, the ministry's press secretary Sirojiddin O'sarov spoke about how some art representatives, who were once admired by millions of viewers, are now engaging in indecent behavior on social networks and facing public disdain. According to him, the Ministry of Culture cannot control the conduct, revealing clothing, and inappropriate appearances on social networks of independent artists.
"They say that due to the unacceptable actions of one or two individuals, the reforms being carried out by the entire Ministry of Culture are being overshadowed. Those artists were also once our idols. Today, seeing their appearances, people ask why the Ministry of Culture is not watching, not taking measures. They once worked within the ministry's system. But now they are independent artists. Bloggers running their pages on networks.
Which blogger has been subjected to measures based on their clothing? Recently, Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov raised a pertinent question in Parliament: 'Where is the boundary of culture?' It is an important question. If the boundary is truly defined, clear regulations are established regarding artists' appearances and clothing, and legalized with a normative document on penalties, the ministry will certainly take measures," said the minister's advisor O'sarov.
