Reports have circulated on social media that a citizen born in 1966, residing in the Lembur neighborhood of So'x district, died due to the actions of IIO employees. Regarding this incident, the Fergana Regional Department of Internal Affairs (IIB) provided official information and stated that the circulated reports do not correspond to reality.

It has become known that citizen M.H. was found drinking alcohol in a public place on April 8 of this year and, while intoxicated, got into an argument with women at the MTM, disturbing public order, for which an administrative report was formalized by a prevention inspector under Article 187 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The next day, on April 9, upon learning that he had to pay a fine, the citizen, while still intoxicated, argued with the prevention inspector and was sent home, a situation recorded by surveillance cameras.
According to reports, this citizen's health deteriorated because for the last 8-10 days he had consumed only alcohol without eating any food, and he was admitted to the resuscitation department of a medical institution on April 11. Despite the provided treatment, he died in the hospital on April 13.
The preliminary conclusion of the medical institution indicates that the patient's death was caused by chronic alcohol consumption and severe alcohol poisoning.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the prosecutor's office regarding the incident.
