According to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, in 2026, the Eid al-Adha holiday will be celebrated in the country on May 27. 

 

The date of one of the most important Muslim holidays is determined according to the lunar calendar and changes every year. Eid al-Adha marks the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage and is accompanied by traditional rituals, including animal sacrifice and charitable acts.

 

It is expected that the holiday will be officially declared a day off in Kyrgyzstan.

 

For reference, in 2025, Eid al-Adha was celebrated on June 6 in Uzbekistan.
