41 Uzbek citizens were returned from Iran via Turkmenistan.
Uzbekistan's diplomatic missions in Ashgabat and Tehran, along with the relevant authorities of Turkmenistan, have resolved the issue of the citizens' return.

With the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, a group of compatriots were returned to Uzbekistan via transit through the territory of Turkmenistan from Iran, reports the “Dunyo” news agency.
It is reported that the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Ashgabat and Tehran, in cooperation with the relevant authorities of Turkmenistan, resolved visa and transport-logistics issues related to the citizens’ return.
With the assistance of the Turkmen side, a total of 41 citizens of Uzbekistan were received at the “Sarakhs–Serakhs” and “Gaudan–Bajgiran” border crossing points, and under the supervision of diplomatic staff, their safe arrival in Uzbekistan was ensured.
As stated by the diplomatic missions, no citizen will be left unattended. The work to return Uzbeks to the embrace of their families will be consistently continued based on the principle of prioritizing human interests.
