Six top bloggers in Uzbekistan earned 2.7 billion soums in 2025 and paid 110.4 million soums in taxes to the budget. This was announced during a meeting with bloggers at the Tax Committee.

The Committee analyzed the activities of bloggers and compiled a list of the 110 most active representatives in the field. According to the studies, 55 of them are registered as self-employed individuals, and 33 as sole proprietors. The remaining 22 bloggers operate as individuals.

The Tax Committee noted that this situation indicates a discrepancy between the actual scale of bloggers' activities and their legal status.

Additionally, the activities of six top bloggers with over 3 million subscribers were studied separately. It was found that they posted 360 stories and 184 advertising posts during 2025.

According to official reports based on electronic invoices, the total income of these bloggers amounted to 2.7 billion soums. Taxes totaling 110.4 million soums were paid to the budget.

During the meeting, bloggers were explained the legal norms regarding the taxation of advertising income. In particular, it was emphasized that the status of a self-employed person does not grant the right to hire employees, yet some bloggers are engaging administrators and assistants.

The parties also discussed the proposal to organize educational events aimed at explaining tax obligations in the field and increasing legal literacy.
