There are no Uzbek citizens among the victims of the incident involving a freight train and a passenger bus in Bangkok. This was reported by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in a statement.

 

As a result of the collision of the vehicles, 8 people were killed, and 33 injured individuals sought medical assistance.

 

According to reports, the traffic accident occurred on May 16. As of May 17, 15 of the injured have been discharged from the hospital, while 18 others remain under medical supervision.

 

So far, two of the deceased have been identified as Thai citizens.

 

According to the Forensic Medicine Department of Police General Hospital, there are no citizens of Uzbekistan among those injured in the incident.

 

"This situation is under the control of the consular office of Uzbekistan in Thailand. If necessary, citizens can contact the consulate via its emergency phone numbers," the statement says.
