After the football match held at the "Bunyodkor" stadium, the issue of disposing of waste in designated areas has once again come to the forefront.

A ceremony was held at the "Bunyodkor" stadium to send off the Uzbekistan national team for the 2026 World Cup. However, it became known that after the players were ceremoniously seen off, waste was left around the stadium.

According to the statement from the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, football fans and field workers participated in cleaning the stadium area from waste.

In the video released by the Agency, it can be seen that some people quickly started cleaning up the waste, while others continued on their way, saying it was too late or that they had come from far away.

"Dear football enthusiasts, dear compatriots, may your hearts, burning for the honor and victory of the Motherland, always feel responsibility for its prosperity as well," the Agency's statement reads.
