In the city of Namangan, 36 multi-story buildings will be demolished as part of the renovation.

Within the framework of the program, houses will be demolished, and 92 new multi-story buildings and hundreds of service facilities will be constructed.

In the city of Namangan, 36 multi-story buildings will be demolished as part of the renovation.

By the President's decision, the areas where the renovation program will be implemented in Namangan city in 2026–2030 have been approved.

 

According to the document, renovation works will be carried out on Navoi, Ibrat, and Uychi streets. In these areas, it is planned to demolish 36 multi-story buildings, 143 individual residential houses, and 13 non-residential facilities.

 

Within the framework of the program, a total of 92 multi-story buildings designed for 6,616 apartments will be constructed.

 

Additionally, the establishment of 375 service facilities is envisaged.

 

To improve infrastructure, 2.3 kilometers of main roads and over 56,000 square meters of internal roads will be repaired in the city. Furthermore, 6.9 kilometers of electrical networks will be upgraded, and 45 transformers and 2 new boiler houses will be installed. Works to improve the water supply system will also be carried out.

 

On June 10, the President signed the law "On Urban Renovation." According to the law, factors such as the dilapidation of residential and non-residential premises in the renovation area, their unsuitability for living or use, the risk of accidents, and factors seriously affecting the social life of the area's population serve as the basis for implementing renovation.
