In Navoi, a Cobalt driver who fell asleep at the wheel caused an accident and died.

A driver of a Cobalt car died as a result of a traffic accident in the Tomdi district of the Navoi region.

 

According to the information from the Regional Internal Affairs Department, the incident occurred on June 10. The driver fell asleep while driving due to fatigue, and as a result, the vehicle was involved in a traffic accident.

 

The driver was immediately provided with medical assistance, but despite the doctors' efforts, he died in the hospital.

 

Regarding this incident, a discussion was held at the driver's workplace, and the factors leading to the accident were analyzed. Officials recommended that drivers not get behind the wheel while fatigued, not exceed speed limits, and get adequate rest before embarking on long journeys.

 

It is noted that since the beginning of this year, 10 traffic accidents related to drivers falling asleep while driving have occurred in the Navoi region. As a result, three people died, and another 12 citizens sustained injuries of varying severity.
