Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov commented on a video circulating on social media showing his daughter Janayim distributing gifts to children at the "Oltin Bolalik" rehabilitation center. 24.kg reported this.
The President stated that this situation is neither a PR stunt nor an attempt to involve his daughter in politics. Japarov addressed this in an interview with the "Kabar" news agency, emphasizing that he does not involve his children and relatives in politics or state affairs. According to him, if such attempts had been made, they would have already become known to the public.
The President reported that the "Oltin Bolalik" children's rehabilitation center was fully constructed and equipped with necessary facilities three years ago on his orders. Now, every year, children from all regions of Kyrgyzstan, primarily from low-income families, undergo rehabilitation there.
Japarov said that his wife, Aygul Japarova, presents gifts to the children at the center every year. This year, because she was unable to visit the center, his daughter Janayim delivered the gifts. After handing over the clothes to the children, she immediately returned.
The President emphasized that the event was not planned for public coverage, and no media representatives were present. The video was recorded by one of the participants on their phone and later posted on social media.
Japarov called for this incident not to be used for political purposes.
