More than 40 people have died as a result of floods in India.

At least 41 people have lost their lives due to floods caused by monsoon rains that have been ongoing since June in the northeastern Indian state of Assam. This was reported by Arab News, citing state Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a report.

According to him, thousands of livestock have perished as a result of the floods. Heavy rainfall observed in upstream areas, along with precipitation exceeding the norm by 436 percent in some places, has caused unprecedented damage in numerous villages.

According to official data, the floods have affected nearly 900,000 residents in over 1,800 villages. About 150 temporary shelters have been set up across the state, housing approximately 30,000 people.

The Indian Air Force, along with state and national emergency response services, have been involved in search and rescue operations. Cargo drones and more than 50 small boats are being used to deliver relief supplies to remote areas.

Additionally, military aviation is airdropping humanitarian cargo to hard-to-reach regions.

Experts note that such natural disasters during the monsoon season recur annually in India. However, climate change and urbanization are intensifying their frequency and scale.

The Donald Trump administration has given preliminary approval for Saudi Arabia to enrich uranium within the country. The most terrifying part is that this deal could be implemented without international security controls! Negotiations have already been concluded, but the document is still on the White House desk awaiting a signature. Why? Let's analyze the games behind the curtain.
