Entrepreneurs who build modern swimming pools in Uzbekistan will receive subsidies of up to 100 million soums.
Up to 50 percent of the construction and commissioning costs for the first 100 swimming pools to be put into operation by 2028 will be covered.

The government has introduced a new subsidy mechanism to encourage the construction of modern swimming pools. The Tourism Committee reported on this.
Now, entrepreneurs can receive up to 50 percent of the costs of construction and commissioning, but not exceeding 100 million soums, covered from the state budget.
By a government decision, the administrative regulation for "providing public services to reimburse costs related to the construction and commissioning of new modern swimming pools" was approved.
According to it, the subsidy will be allocated for the first 100 modern swimming pools commissioned from February 1, 2026, to January 1, 2028.
An entrepreneur wishing to receive the subsidy must not have debts on taxes and other mandatory payments, must not be in the process of reorganization or liquidation, must not have their activities temporarily suspended in accordance with the law, and must not have been declared insolvent by a court decision.
Applications are submitted to the Tourism Committee through Public Service Centers or the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal (UIPSP).
The application must be accompanied by the project documentation of the swimming pool, a contract for construction and commissioning, and electronic documents confirming the payments made.
After the Tourism Committee makes a decision on allocating the subsidy, the funds will be transferred to the applicant's bank account within 10 business days.
This mechanism is aimed at developing tourism and sports infrastructure in the regions, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and supporting new investment projects.
