A proposal was made to establish an ecological club under the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan.

A roundtable discussion on the topic "Green Economy and Women: The Responsibility of Preserving the Future" was held at the Uzbekistan Journalists' Union.

Journalists, public activists, and industry representatives participated in it, exchanging views on pressing issues, and shortcomings made by journalists in covering environmental problems were analyzed. Also, during the event, an initiative to establish an environmental club under the Union was put forward.

At the roundtable, experts and industry representatives emphasized that the role and responsibility of every citizen, especially women, are of particular importance in eliminating environmental problems.
