A citizen of Uzbekistan who was in a difficult situation in Russia, along with his 6 children, has been returned to the homeland.

Assistance was provided to an Uzbek citizen who found herself in a difficult situation in St. Petersburg, along with her six children, to return to their homeland. The "Dunyo" news agency reported on this.

It was reported that diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with representatives of the Migration Agency, provided assistance to M.M. and her children.

Earlier, the citizen and her children did not have documents identifying their identity or granting them the right to leave Russia. For this reason, M.M. was placed in a temporary detention facility for foreign citizens in Russia, and her six children were placed in the "Transit" children's social shelter.

In order to prevent a prolonged separation from her children, the necessary documents were processed within a short period of time.

Following this, M.M. and her six children were returned to Uzbekistan via the "St. Petersburg – Samarkand" flight.
