The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Serbia has concluded.
At the airport, high-ranking guests were seen off by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and his wife.

The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Serbia has concluded. At the Nikola Tesla International Airport in Belgrade, the high-ranking guests were seen off by the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and his wife.

The President's first official visit to Serbia marked a new stage in the history of bilateral relations. Following the talks, the heads of state signed a joint declaration on establishing strategic partnership relations. In addition, a substantial package of documents consolidating the agreements reached in priority areas was exchanged.

A ceremony was held to solemnly present the leader of Uzbekistan with Serbia's highest state award — the Order of the Republic of Serbia with Grand Chain. Also, one of the streets in Belgrade was named "Tashkent." Within the framework of the business program, the heads of the two states participated in a joint business forum.

Upon the conclusion of the official visit, the President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent. In Serbian airspace, the aircraft of the high-ranking guest was escorted by fighter jets of the country's Air Force.
