"We need to make a decision": Zelensky proposed to Putin to meet in Miami

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced his readiness to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the G20 summit to be held in December in Miami, USA.

Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Deutsche Welle. According to him, in order to make important decisions, the parties must meet in person and hold negotiations.

“We need to be there. We need to meet, talk, and make decisions,” said Zelenskyy.

He emphasized that what matters more is the outcome of the negotiations, rather than what he will say to Putin during the meeting.

“It's not about words. It doesn't matter what I say to him or what he wants to say to me. What matters is the result. That's all,” said the Ukrainian president.
