President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a street in Nukus that operates around the clock
2.2 billion soums have been allocated for the improvement of streets.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, took a walk along the renovated street in Nukus city.
As a result of the improvement works carried out on the city's G'aresizlik, S.Kamalov, and G'.Sheraziyeva streets, a comfortable recreation environment was created for residents and city guests, along with conditions for round-the-clock operation of shopping and entertainment venues.
2.2 billion soums were allocated for these works, and a 2.5-kilometer section of the streets was repaired and its infrastructure renewed.
Pedestrian walkways were built, and benches and trash bins were installed. Energy-efficient solar-powered lights were installed to illuminate the area at night. To drain rainwater and prevent water accumulation, a 1.5-kilometer network was newly constructed, and existing ones were modernized.
The created conditions also revitalized entrepreneurial activity. In the area, 8 new business entities began operating, and another 10 expanded their activities. As a result, 75 new jobs were created.
As the head of state walked along the street, he engaged in sincere communication with people, emphasizing that the peace prevailing in the country is the most precious blessing, and expressed his best wishes.
