The President got acquainted with the activities of a gas block manufacturing enterprise in Nukus
The "Coals KS" enterprise has the capacity to produce 300 thousand cubic meters of gas blocks and 165 thousand tons of lime per year.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the activities of the «Coals KS» enterprise in Nukus.
The total cost of the project is 16.3 million dollars. The enterprise has established the production of gas blocks and lime. For the production of gas blocks, a 4.8-hectare area has been allocated in the «Nukus» free economic zone. The lime production facilities are located on a 4.8-hectare area in the Qorao‘zak district.
The enterprise has the capacity to produce 300 thousand cubic meters of gas blocks and 165 thousand tons of lime per year. This allows not only supplying the domestic market with modern construction materials but also establishing exports. It is planned to export the products to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
96 percent of the raw materials used in production are sourced from local sources. In particular, quartz sand, cement, and gypsum are supplied by enterprises in our country. This is important for reducing the cost of products and ensuring the stability of supply.
The gas blocks produced at the enterprise stand out for their lightness, heat retention, and sound insulation properties. They are 3-4 times lighter than ordinary solid brick, which serves to reduce construction costs.
Today, 200 local residents work at the enterprise. To date, 5 large projects with a total value of 200 million dollars have been launched by the enterprise. Construction work is ongoing on 4 new projects worth another 40 million dollars.
The head of state reviewed the production processes and products, and listened to information about the enterprise's future plans. He had a sincere conversation with the workers.
The importance of maintaining high quality while reducing product costs, expanding production volume and export opportunities, and regularly improving the qualifications of employees was emphasized. Relevant recommendations and instructions were given to the enterprise management and those responsible in the sector.
