President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the "LB Sport" enterprise in Baliqchi district

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the activities of the «LB Sport» enterprise in Baliqchi district.

 

«LB Sport» is one of the leading local enterprises producing sports equipment. The enterprise cooperates with more than 20 sports federations.

 

This project was implemented based on the decision of the head of state dated March 24 of this year on expanding the involvement of entrepreneurial entities in the sports sector.

 

The total value of the project is 25 billion soums, fully financed from the entrepreneur's own funds. The enterprise produces 65 types of products across 18 sports. Annually, 500,000 units of sports equipment worth a total of 75 billion soums are manufactured.

 

The products can compete with foreign alternatives in terms of quality, while their price is relatively affordable. They are exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other CIS countries. The annual export volume amounts to 3 million dollars.

 

Special attention is also given to ensuring employment of the population in the enterprise's activities. Cooperation on a home-based work basis has been established with 800 low-income families in Baliqchi district.

 

90 percent of home-based workers are women, and 65 percent are youth under the age of 30. This system provides the population with the opportunity to work from their own homes and earn a stable income.

 

The integration of education and production has been established at the enterprise. 100 students from technical colleges No. 1 and No. 2 in the district are being trained on the basis of dual education. They reinforce their theoretical knowledge directly in the production process.

 

The head of state reviewed the production process and samples of finished products.

 

Information was provided about the enterprise's future plans. In order to expand production directions, it is planned to implement a project for the production of sports bicycles with the participation of foreign investments in 2027.
