95 kg of hashish was discovered: three individuals were detained

During a rapid operation conducted in the Qibray district of Tashkent region, nearly 95 kilograms of hashish narcotic substance were removed from illegal circulation. Three individuals were detained in connection with the case.

 

During the operation conducted in cooperation with employees of the Customs Committee and the State Security Service, 4 sacks were found hidden among trees in a field area. Inside the sacks, 109 packages were found.

 

According to the conclusion of the Central Customs Laboratory, the substance in the packages turned out to be nearly 95 kilograms of hashish.

 

After that, the area was under surveillance for several days in order to identify individuals who would come to pick up the narcotic substances. After 8 days, two citizens who came to pick up the substances were detained.

 

During the investigation, the person who gave the assignment to retrieve the narcotic substances from the hiding place was also identified and detained. It was determined that he was a person who had previously been involved in gasoline smuggling and had been held criminally liable in connection with a criminal case initiated by the Customs Committee.

 

In connection with the case, a criminal case was initiated by the Department of Inquiry and Administrative Practice of the Customs Committee and sent to the investigative body.

 

According to the information, nearly 95 kilograms of hashish equals approximately 700 thousand doses. It has been calculated that its value on the black market could exceed 10 million US dollars by the time it reaches the consumer.
