Riots in French schools: 24 schools set on fire
Classes have been suspended in up to 500 educational institutions following student demonstrations.

During the protests in France, cases of violence and vandalism were observed in educational institutions. At least 24 schools were set on fire or destroyed. Le Figaro reported this, citing the country's education minister, Édouard Geffray.
According to the minister, classes were suspended at 400–500 educational institutions across France on Friday. It is expected that classes will also be suspended at the same number of schools and other educational institutions on Monday.
Geffray noted that classes will be restored not all at once in all institutions, but gradually and partially.
Also, since the events began, 78 employees of the education system have been injured.
The education minister cited this information during a debate with Manuel Bompard, the national coordinator of the "Unsubmissive France" movement.
