The President of Uzbekistan went to Turkmenistan on a working visit
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as the CIS summit.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit on October 7.
At the airport of Turkmenbashi city, the head of state was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and other officials.
According to the visit program, the leader of Uzbekistan will participate in the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan on October 8, and in the next summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States on October 9.
A number of bilateral meetings are also planned to be held within the framework of the events.
