The sale of 179 iPhone model phones illegally brought into the republic through Tashkent has been exposed. This was reported by the "Tashkent-AERO" specialized customs complex.

 

According to the report, suspicious activities were observed in Chilanzar district during an operational event conducted by employees of the Anti-Smuggling Department.

 

During the inspection, 102 iPhone devices that had not undergone customs formalization and were illegally brought into the republic were intercepted while being sold to an "undercover buyer." The total value of the material evidence amounted to 255 million soums.

 

A similar situation occurred near a shopping complex in the Shaykhantakhur district. The illegal sales chain was broken by operational officers while 77 phones worth 207 million 900 thousand soums were being transferred from hidden hands to an "undercover buyer."

 

Currently, investigative actions are being carried out by customs authorities regarding the above-mentioned cases.

 

We remind you that since the beginning of this year, complex customs officers have stopped the illegal circulation of 377 mobile communication devices worth a total of 1 billion 727 million soums in 35 cases.
