A criminal case has been opened following child poisoning in Fergana.
Currently, relevant types of expertise have been appointed, and preliminary investigative actions are being carried out.

Earlier, it was reported that several children in kindergartens in the city of Fergana, Fergana region, were poisoned by food and hospitalized.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The regional DIA information service reported this.
According to reports, on February 21, based on information received by the duty unit of the Fergana City DIA, pupils of State Preschool Educational Institutions No. 58, 2, and 61 in the city sought treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital with symptoms of "fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhea."
Currently, the situation is being fully investigated by responsible officials from the Fergana Regional Prosecutor's Office, the DIA, and other relevant agencies.
Regarding the incident, the Fergana City DIA has initiated a criminal case under Article 257¹ of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and preliminary investigative actions are being carried out with all relevant expert examinations appointed.
