Restoring Ukraine will cost nearly 600 billion dollars.
Most of the funds will be directed toward restoring the transport sector in the postwar period.

$588 billion will be needed to restore the Ukrainian territories destroyed as a result of the war with Russia. This is stated in a report prepared by Ukraine, the World Bank, the European Commission, and the United Nations.
According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko, this amount is almost three times the country's nominal gross domestic product for 2025.
According to the report, a large part of the funds will be directed to restoring the transport sector in the post-war period. This is followed by the housing sector, trade and industry, as well as agriculture. Nearly $28 billion will be needed to address the consequences of explosions and clear areas of mines.
Data released in 2025 stated that approximately $524 billion would be required to restore Ukraine over the next ten years. This amount has now increased because the war is ongoing and the damage inflicted is growing.
