The state bus service on the Tashkent-Dushanbe route has been launched.

On February 24, international buses made their first trip on the Tashkent–Dushanbe route. This is the first state bus on this route.

For now, trips are made twice a week — on Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:00 PM from Tashkent. Return trips from Dushanbe to Tashkent are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1:00 PM.

The buses depart from the Tashkent bus station and travel through the Sariosiyo district of the Surkhandarya region to the Dushanbe central bus station. The journey duration is approximately 15–17 hours.

Passengers are transported on sleeper buses with a high level of comfort. The ticket price is set at 315,000 soums.

Additionally, passengers must have a passport for traveling abroad to cross the border. Depending on passenger flow, additional trips may be introduced in the future.
