During his visit to Surkhandarya region, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited a military unit.

 

The large-scale reforms being implemented in the country's defense system are becoming a crucial factor in further enhancing the combat capability of the troops and the activities of the military-administrative sectors.

 

All conditions have been created in this unit to improve the combat training of military personnel. The training buildings, canteen, dormitory, spiritual and educational rooms, and sports complex are equipped with the most modern technology and equipment.

 

Today, artificial intelligence, robots, missiles, drones, and countermeasures against them are widely used in various regional conflicts. Based on this, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief had set the task of organizing new units within the troops for drones and counter-drone warfare, cyber structures working with artificial intelligence, the use of robotic equipment, and air defense.

 

Systematic work is being carried out in this regard, and our national army is being supplied with modern weapons.

 

The Head of State inspected the conditions created in the military unit, military equipment and weapons, including modern air defense systems.

 

It was emphasized that when defining the priority directions for developing our national army, it is necessary to take into account modern armed conflicts, existing threats to our security, and the specifics of the theater of military operations.

 

Relevant instructions were given to officials on consistently continuing the execution of the tasks set for increasing the potential of our Armed Forces, strengthening the material-technical base, and enhancing the readiness of personnel.
