The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Baxtiyor Saidov, held telephone conversations with the heads of foreign policy agencies of Qatar, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates regarding the situation in the Middle East.

 

During the conversation with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the regional situation was discussed in detail. The sincere sympathy and solidarity of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, were conveyed. The parties emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-use of force.

 

During the conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah, views were also exchanged on the development of the situation in the region. The sincere sympathy of the leader of Uzbekistan for the people and leadership of Kuwait was conveyed. The necessity of respecting state sovereignty and territorial integrity and resolving all issues peacefully in accordance with international law was noted.

 

The regional situation was also discussed during the conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. The Uzbek side confirmed its commitment to the principles of peace, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

 

During the conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, views were exchanged on the impact of the situation on stability and security. The support of the President of Uzbekistan for the leadership and people of Jordan was conveyed.

 

During the conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the tensions in the region were discussed. The Uzbek side emphasized that strict adherence to international law is a fundamental condition for regional stability.

 

During the telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, views were exchanged on the situation in the Middle East and its regional consequences. The parties confirmed the unity of their common positions on preserving sovereignty and territorial integrity and resolving disputes through diplomatic means.

 

Furthermore, the situation was also discussed in detail during the conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sincere sympathy and solidarity with the leadership and people of the UAE were expressed on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan.

 

During the telephone conversations, the Uzbek side once again emphasized the necessity of resolving all issues peacefully, politically, and diplomatically in accordance with international law.
