Umrah trips are postponed due to the situation in the Middle East.

The next scheduled flight for Umrah pilgrims on the Tashkent-Jeddah route, planned by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan for March 2, has also been postponed for a certain period. The Muslim Board announced this in an official statement.

It is noted that a number of flights are being canceled due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East region and the temporary restrictions imposed on the use of airspace.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is issuing necessary recommendations to citizens to refrain from traveling to countries in this area, and at the same time, to our compatriots currently there to strengthen precautionary measures.

Taking this situation into account, to ensure the safety of citizens, Umrah trips organized by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and tour operators are being temporarily postponed.

"Additional information regarding the resumption of flights will be provided through official sources. We ask our compatriots to accept this situation correctly and to act based on official information," the statement says.
