"Kazakhstan is ready to provide any necessary assistance to Arab countries" — Tokayev

According to The Astana Times, the President of Kazakhstan sent personal appeals to the leaders of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, expressing sincere support and solidarity with the peoples of these countries during complex trials.

On March 1, Presidential Press Secretary Aybek Smadiyarov reported that Tokayev had sharply condemned any military actions aimed at harming the sovereignty and security of states that are friends and brothers to Kazakhstan.

President Tokayev also confirmed his readiness to provide any necessary assistance to the Arab states and expressed hope to maintain active practical contacts with their leaders.

On February 28, against the backdrop of escalating tensions around Iran and the potential impact of regional instability on the country, Tokayev instructed the Security Council and law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan to develop an emergency action plan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, due to the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, has published a list of emergency contact numbers and "hotlines" for the country's diplomatic missions abroad.
