US intelligence warned about possible attacks directed by Iran against US territory.

According to information from the Office of Intelligence and Analysis under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, following the death of Ali Khamenei as a result of U.S. and Israeli strikes, Iran and its affiliated proxy forces could potentially carry out attacks on U.S. territory in retaliation possible.

At the same time, according to intelligence information, Iran's potential attack against the U.S. would not include large-scale direct strikes. Potential cyberattacks have been noted as the primary near-term risk.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem stated that any potential threats to national security are being closely monitored and that close cooperation with federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies has been established to prevent them.
