"We are ready to continue the operation against Iran for as long as necessary" — Trump

United States President Donald Trump stated that the military operation being conducted against Iran could last longer than expected.

Trump emphasized that he is prepared to continue the operation for as long as necessary, stating "there is nothing boring about it." According to the President, Washington is carrying out these actions to counter threats coming from Iran.

The White House leader stated that Iran's missile program is rapidly developing, and that if the current operation is not carried out, Tehran could have missiles capable of reaching US territory in the near future.

Trump also noted that Iran possessing nuclear weapons is an absolutely unacceptable situation for the US.

Donald Trump expressed pride in his decision to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran made during the Barack Obama administration and promised not to allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.

The President emphasized that the US is taking action to destroy the Iranian fleet and has sunk ten vessels so far. At the same time, he added that Iran's nuclear program has been "completely destroyed" and that Tehran has been warned not to attempt to rebuild it elsewhere. According to him, despite these warnings, Iran has not given up its pursuit of creating nuclear weapons.
