A father and son who attacked a driver with a pregnant woman in Tashkent have been sentenced.
As a result of the incident, the driver's wife lost her pregnancy.

The court verdict has been announced in the case of the attack against the driver of a Gentra car in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent city. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent City Court.
The Yakkasaroy District Court for Criminal Cases found a 24-year-old young man and his 55-year-old father guilty of hooliganism committed as a group.
Initially, they were charged with intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. However, according to the forensic medical examination conclusion, only minor bodily injuries were found on the victim's wife. Furthermore, the report about a miscarriage was not confirmed because medical documents confirming pregnancy before the incident were not provided. Based on this, the charge was reclassified under the article on hooliganism.
According to the court verdict, both defendants were sentenced to restriction of liberty for a term of two years. Taking into account the time spent in custody, the final punishment was set as restriction of liberty for 1 year, 6 months, and 24 days.
