The cause of the gas explosion in the house in Kokand has been determined.
The incident occurred due to the use of a faulty and non-standard gas hose.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that it has investigated the causes of the gas explosion in a house in Kokand that led to one person's death.
According to the head of the ministry's information service, Murad Sodiqov, during the investigation by experts, it was found that at the time of the incident, the homeowner had used a faulty and non-standard hose while operating the gas stove, which resulted in the explosion.
The MES representative also provided information about a gas detection analyzer, a device that shuts off the source if gas leaks into a room, emphasizing that it is an automated system and considered the safest.
A gas explosion occurred on February 25 in a multi-story building located in the "Bo'ston" neighborhood citizens' assembly area of Kokand city, resulting in a fire. Due to the tragic incident, a citizen born in 2007 who resided in this apartment was crushed by a concrete slab (floor) and sustained severe bodily injuries, dying at the scene.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2, paragraph "a" of Article 259 of the Criminal Code (violation of fire safety rules resulting in death), and the criminal case has been taken under control by the Investigation Department.
