Senator Trump stated that he has completely lost control and that Americans have already perished due to his lies.
US Senator Ed Markey accused Donald Trump of waging an illegal war against Iran.
"I just left a classified briefing on Iran, and it confirmed what we already knew. Donald Trump is waging an illegal war and has no plan to stop it. Today he said we attacked Iran because he had a feeling, but we know the truth," said the senator.
According to Ed Markey, Donald Trump is lying about Iran's nuclear and missile capabilities and dragging the United States into another endless war in the Middle East.
"Trump has completely lost control, and Americans have already died because of his lies," Markey added.
Earlier, another US Senator, Bernie Sanders, also stated that Donald Trump had said Iran's nuclear capability was destroyed by US strikes this summer, but this statement may not be true.
According to Sanders, if these words are not true, then it is possible that the current military operation was started under a "false pretext." He compared this situation to the US invasion of Iraq.
"Trump is saying we must attack Iran because we cannot allow it to have a nuclear weapon. But in June, he himself said, 'Iran's nuclear sites were destroyed.' Vietnam. Iraq. Iran. Another lie. Another war," Sanders wrote.
