A video spread on social networks showing a man beating a woman at a school in Margilan. The Information Service of the Fergana Regional Department of Internal Affairs announced that a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident.
It became known that on March 2, citizen M.K. went to see her son M.E., a 5th-grade student at Secondary School No. 25 in the Istiqlol neighborhood of Margilan city. At that time, she saw citizen J.H. slapping and beating her child and tried to intervene. However, citizen J.H. continued his hooligan actions, hitting M.K. and M.E. on various parts of their bodies, intentionally causing them bodily injuries.
It is noted that regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against J.H. under Part 3, paragraph "g" of Article 277 of the Criminal Code by the Margilan City Department of Internal Affairs, and he has been detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
