Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
The foreign ministers of the two countries discussed the issue of the attack on Nakhchivan.
According to the announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Jeyhun Bayramov regarding the situation in Azerbaijan.
It was reported that during the conversation, Bayramov provided detailed information about the drone attack carried out in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. It was noted that this attack resulted in harm to civilians and damage to civilian infrastructure.
The Uzbek side expressed serious concern regarding these attacks. It was also emphasized that such actions, which violate the principles of international law and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other states, are absolutely unacceptable.
