Germany's military base in Jordan was hit by Iranian missiles — Spiegel

Ballistic missiles launched from Iranian territory fell during an attack on the German sector of the Al-Azraq airbase in Jordan on March 8-9. This was reported by BBC, citing the Spiegel publication.

According to the publication, the barracks where German troops are stationed were hit; they were in shelters during the attack, and no one was injured. The US Air Force is also stationed at the same airbase.

"It is not yet clear whether the missiles themselves hit the barracks or whether debris from a missile shot down by air defense fell on them," the report says.

It is noted that the German military contingent has been permanently stationed at Al-Azraq for several years, but its personnel has been reduced since the start of the US and Israeli war against Iran.
