In Kyrgyzstan, Ramadan Hayit will be celebrated on March 20.
The decision was adopted based on the fatwa of the muftis of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States.

According to the announcement by the Muslim Board of Kyrgyzstan, the 2026 Eid al-Fitr in the country will be celebrated on Friday, March 20. This decision was made at a meeting of muftis from member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on issuing fatwas.
The Fatwa Council includes representatives from the official Muslim religious bodies of OTS member countries – Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as OTS observer states – Turkmenistan and Hungary.
It is worth recalling that in February, at a meeting of the Fatwa Council of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Bodies of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand, it was determined that in 2026, the first day of the month of Ramadan is expected to fall on Thursday, February 19, and Eid al-Fitr on Friday, March 20.
Furthermore, a consultative meeting of the Fatwa Council under the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Bodies of the Organization of Turkic States member countries was held in Samarkand on February 2-4. The event was organized under the leadership of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, with the participation of representatives from the religious bodies of OTS member countries and Islamic scholars.
