Lifelong imprisonment sentences have been handed down to those who attacked Crocus City Hall in Russia.

A Russian military court has sentenced individuals accused of involvement in the attack on Crocus City Hall to life imprisonment. This was reported by the "TASS" agency.

According to the information, life sentences were handed down to 15 out of a total of 19 defendants. Four other individuals were sentenced to prison terms of up to 22.5 years. Among them are those who provided cars and apartments to the criminals.

As a result of the terrorist attack carried out at Crocus City Hall on March 22, 2024, at least 145 people were killed, over 550 were injured, and more than 1,700 others were recognized as victims of this incident.

The Russian government has blamed members of the "Khorasan Province" group, which is the Afghan branch of the ISIS terrorist organization, for carrying out the attack.

Russian officials and Kremlin-aligned media have also emphasized that there is a "Ukrainian trace" in the attack, but no evidence has been provided for this.
