Passengers who hid drugs in their body cavities were caught at Tashkent airport.
In this way, they attempted to smuggle 410 grams of jewelry to Istanbul.

Two women attempting to fly from Tashkent International Airport to Istanbul were caught trying to smuggle 410 grams of gold jewelry hidden on their bodies. The Customs Committee reported this.
It was revealed that one woman had hidden 252 grams and the other 158 grams of gold jewelry in her genital area in an attempt to take them out of the country.
Furthermore, it was discovered that they had an additional 64 grams of jewelry items in their handbags that had not been declared for customs control.
According to preliminary estimates, the total value of the identified jewelry is approximately 720 million soums.
The passengers also stated that the jewelry did not belong to them.
"So, how will they now settle the debt to the real owners of the jewelry worth nearly 60,000 US dollars? As you have witnessed, one problem leads to another," the committee's report states.
