A criminal case has been initiated against five individuals who forcibly put a woman into a car, took her to a secluded location, and cut off her hair in the Andijan region. This was reported by the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to preliminary information, a woman born in 1991 in Izboskan district and currently residing in Andijan city, having accused another woman born in 1998 of having an affair with her husband, planned to take revenge on her.
On December 23, 2025, she had the victim brought to the hospital where she was receiving treatment through her acquaintances, women born in 1995, 2004, and 2001. At the hospital, various inappropriate actions were committed against the woman, she was insulted, and this process was recorded on video.
After that, the suspect woman called her acquaintances—two men born in 1999 and 1998—and ordered them to take the victim to a secluded place and cut off her hair. As a result, the woman was forcibly placed into a white Gentra car and taken to a remote location in the Jevachi neighborhood area of Andijan district. There, her hair was shaved off using a clipper by the man born in 1999.
This process was recorded on video by the woman born in 1995 and later posted on social networks.
Regarding the incident, the Investigation Department under the Coordination Administration of Internal Affairs for Andijan city has initiated a criminal case under Article 137, Part 2, paragraph "v" of the Criminal Code.
Five individuals have been detained as suspects in accordance with procedural rules. Preliminary investigative actions are currently being carried out in the criminal case. This case has been placed under special supervision by the Andijan Regional Prosecutor's Office.
