As long as Netanyahu is alive, Israel will always see someone as an enemy — Turkish Foreign Minister
Turkey stated that no one can drag the country into the conflict in the Middle East.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that as long as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in power, Israel will always see someone as an enemy. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
"He needs to constantly 'create' an enemy to advance his policies. Israel is pursuing not security, but more land acquisition. As long as Netanyahu does not abandon this idea, there will always be war in the Middle East," said Fidan.
According to him, Israel is pursuing its geopolitical interests in the region through external interventions. Fidan noted that the Israeli government continues to violate the peace agreement in Gaza and that the humanitarian situation there is worsening day by day.
Fidan also expressed concern that Netanyahu could commit a new massacre in Lebanon under the pretext of fighting "Hezbollah." He called on the international community to take immediate action against the crimes being committed by Israel.
Hakan Fidan emphasized that Turkey does not want to participate in the ongoing unjust war and firmly opposes any attempts to drag the country into the conflict. He stated that Ankara has decided not to succumb to provocations and that the country's military and deterrence capabilities are very high.
"Turkey knows well when and where to use its strategic strength. However, it is necessary to resolve the war through diplomatic means as quickly as possible. Attacks on Iran must stop immediately, and Iran's attacks on neighboring countries must also cease. At the same time, the parties should return to negotiations soon," stated the head of the Turkish MFA.
