The large fast agent promised the entrepreneur to sell electronic boards to the state school at a price higher than the cost.
In Jizzakh region, the senior operative officer of the Paxtakor district department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes was detained on suspicion of committing a crime against state interests. This was reported to DXX by Zamon.uz.
According to information, this operative officer, with the aim of personal enrichment, gained the trust of the head of an LLC engaged in technical supply in collusion with a previously convicted acquaintance. They promised to secure "victory" in concluding an electronic contract for the purchase of 20 interactive whiteboards at an inflated price for the Jizzakh city Department of Preschool and School Education.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the senior operative officer attempted to sell the interactive whiteboards for 25 million soums, while their actual price was 15.2 million soums. Thus, they demanded 85 million soums for their "services."
During an urgent operation conducted in cooperation with State Security Service personnel and prosecutor's office bodies, the operative officer's acquaintance was caught while receiving the 85 million soums. Later, the senior operative officer and the school director were caught with material evidence while receiving 30 million soums from the acquaintance in front of their residence.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated by the Jizzakh regional prosecutor's office, and the "detention" preventive measure has been applied against the senior operative officer of the Paxtakor district department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and the school director.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
