Within the framework of the launch of the 3rd copper enrichment plant in Olmaliq, more than 6,000 jobs will be created.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced at the inauguration ceremony of the 3rd copper enrichment plant at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine that once the complex is fully operational, over 6,000 young people will be provided with high-income jobs.

According to the information, with the full launch of the 3rd copper enrichment plant, the daily production volume of copper concentrate at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine will increase from the current 2,400 tons to 5,000 tons.

During the ceremony, it was emphasized that this project is not merely an enterprise but a modern industrial complex that will further strengthen the country's industrial power and serve the deep processing of natural resources.

It was noted that the "Yoshlik-1" and "Qalmoqqir" deposits have a total of 45 million tons of copper and over 5,000 tons of gold reserves, which serve as a guaranteed base to supply the country's industry with raw materials for at least 100 years.

It was also stated that rare metals such as molybdenum, selenium, tellurium, and rhenium present in the deposits will serve as an important foundation for developing projects in new innovative directions.

Furthermore, advanced mining technologies from the USA, Germany, Russia, China, and Finland are being implemented at the plant. All technological processes are being digitized and connected to a unified management system based on artificial intelligence.

Experts noted that the implementation of these systems will result in a 10% reduction in energy consumption, a 15% decrease in product costs, and a 10% increase in labor productivity.
