As a result of rapid measures aimed at combating the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs in the Fergana and Navoi regions, a number of individuals were detained. The State Security Service informed Zamon.uz about this.

 

During an operation conducted in the city of Fergana by employees of the State Security Service in cooperation with the directorates for the Surkhandarya and Fergana regions, a local citizen born in 1989 was subjected to inspection. When his bag was examined with the participation of witnesses, a substance identified as "hashish" with a total weight of 4 kg 463 grams was discovered and seized as material evidence.

 

During the investigation, his brother, born in 1990, who was also involved in this crime, was detained. It was revealed that he had previously been convicted for a crime related to narcotic drugs.

 

According to preliminary information, the brothers planned to smuggle this substance from Afghanistan and sell it in the territory of Fergana region.

 

In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated against them under Part 2 of Article 246 and Part 5 of Articles 25, 273 of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" was applied.

 

Furthermore, in the city of Navoi, a citizen born in 2000 was stopped and inspected. 8 ampoules of hashish oil and 10 pieces of hashish substance wrapped in foil paper were found on him.

 

During the rapid operation, when his place of residence was inspected, it was established that a drug laboratory had been set up in the apartment. From the address, 34 pieces of hashish wrapped in isolenta, 63 ampoules containing 88 grams of hashish oil, 2 syringes containing 25 milligrams of hashish oil, as well as 640 grams of hashish oil and 2 grams of hashish prepared by a homemade method were seized.

 

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated against the suspect under paragraph "b" of Part 4 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" was applied to him.
