It is said that Uzbekistan mobile numbers are being sold online.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies has commented on this.

Screenshots have circulated showing Uzbekistan's mobile numbers being sold on international and unofficial online services. Regarding the situation, the Ministry of Digital Technologies issued a statement.
The ministry's statement clarified that the virtual numbers mentioned cannot be used as telephone numbers.
The report notes that there is also no possibility to use internet services through such numbers.
"At the same time, there is no cause for alarm as there is no possibility to illegally obtain citizens' personal data," the ministry's statement says.
According to the ministry, virtual numbers from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, UAE, Portugal, Vietnam, and other countries are also available on international and unofficial online services. Virtual numbers obtained from such services can only be used for a short time via a one-time special code for registering on social networks, email, or other platforms.
"In order to strengthen the fight against crimes committed using information technology, a system for detecting and preventing number spoofing cases has been introduced and is being continuously improved across all mobile network operators' networks," the ministry added.
Furthermore, the ministry reminded the public that they can monitor mobile numbers officially registered in their name by using the "My Numbers" service on the my.gov.uz portal.
