For Uzbek citizens, neighboring countries remain the best travel destinations.
In January-February 2026, 1,081,612 Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
For comparison, this figure increased by 49.3 thousand people compared to the same period last year.
The countries most visited by Uzbeks in the first two months of 2026 were:
• Kyrgyz Republic — 426,421 people;
• Tajikistan — 179,390 people;
• Kazakhstan — 166,017 people;
• Saudi Arabia — 115,350 people;
• Russia — 62,054 people;
• Turkey — 34,634 people;
• UAE — 26,449 people;
• Thailand — 10,946 people;
• China — 8,890 people;
• Egypt — 8,872 people;
Central Asian and nearby foreign countries remain the best travel destinations for Uzbek citizens.
